History

FifeX started as a spin-out from the University of St Andrews with a view to fabricating university ideas for science and technology centres. They have worked mainly in education, designing batch-produced products for classrooms right through to full-scale bespoke exhibitions. Recently, the company have scaled up the in-house facility with the addition of two 3D printers and a small CNC router and have been doing more work with local engineering firms, helping them in their prototyping phase.
