We create bespoke tufting artworks in close collaboration with interior designers, art consultants, and collectors, managing every stage in-house from concept to finishing, making us the only studio in the region working at this artistic and professional level. Alongside commissioned projects, we supply the wider creative community with carefully curated yarns, threads, and tufting equipment, supported by our in-house yarn dyeing capabilities that deliver exclusive colours and finishes. Handmayk also shares its expertise through workshops ranging from professional training to team-building and corporate experiences, inspiring makers of all levels to explore the possibilities of textile art. Founded in 2016 by Roya and Asad to address the lack of quality yarns and craft supplies in the UAE, the company began as Yarns Dubai before rebranding to Handmayk in 2023 to reflect its wider focus on fibre arts such as embroidery, macramé, tufting, and dyeing. In 2024, it became a registered UAE trademark and entered the art world with large-scale tufting showcases at World Art Dubai, later leading the fair’s Textile Hub. Expanding further in 2025, Handmayk launched Roya Yarns, the UAE’s first hand-dyed yarn brand, while also offering bespoke fibre art projects under Asad’s studio. Committed to sustainability, the brand integrates eco-friendly products, biodegradable packaging, and continues to champion accessible, high-quality craft experiences in the region.
