Production details

Process Studios has textiles, print, upholstery, wood, sewing, ceramics and jewellery studios. These workshops and facilities can be accessed through the membership programme, taking part in a course, or being a resident in the studios. The courses which allow the general public to access the fully equipped workshops and to be taught by skilled professionals. The textiles facilities include a 6 meter screen print table, a 16 shaft floor loom and an 8 shaft table loom. In addition materials can be purchased from Process Studios

Process Studios was founded under the name Edinburgh Contemporary Crafts in 2013. Process Studios is a not-for-profit organisation which is run by makers for the benefit of professionals and the community. The shared studio supports emerging and mid-career makers and encourages collaboration and cross-disciplinary work.
