At The Makers Society we will train and support you to become a proficient woodworker and realize any project you have in mind. We can guide you from the design phase and assist you in the construction of your product. We currently offer several woodworking courses for different levels: 1. Introductory Course to Woodworking: ideal for beginners 2. Intermediate Course to Woodworking 3.Hand Tools Sharpening Course: This course is the foundation for those who want to develop their woodworking skills with the use of hand tools 4. Introduction to Hand Tools 5.Dovetail Joints: Dovetails are synonym of excellence in woodworking. 6.Hand Joinery Level 1 and 2: these two courses explore the fundamental joinery techniques with the use of hand tools. 7.Kumiko Course: Kumiko is an ancient Japanese woodworking technique At The Makers Society we also have a 6 week woodworking program for kids. Following the Sloyd concept and as a practical integration to the STEM program in schools, we help children to boost their creativity and increase their level of self-confidence.
