Mz* Baltazar's Laboratory

History

Mz * Baltazar's Lab was founded in 2008 with the intention of giving women * their own space to learn about technologies. The laboratory is intended to serve as a ‘safer space’ (safer place) that people can use together who have previously experienced themselves as not belonging or even beeing excluded in traditional technology and science laboratories. Many people feel unsafe in rooms in which technologies or natural sciences are taught, which is why we especially invite these people (women *, trans, non-binary people) to join us. Or convey your knowledge yourself in a workshop, at the interface between technology and art and / or with a curious and critical attitude to socio-political issues.
