Knockando Mill manufacture tweeds, tartans, knitting yarns and accessories. Production uses restored Victorian looms and spinning mules.

Knockando have capacity to produce bespoke one offs, batch and short runs. Typical clients include sporting estates, bespoke corporate commission and specialist retailers. Knockando are happy to undertake bespoke design and short run production projects, though these may incur development costs depending on the final production order. Please note that the Woolmill is open to the public seasonally, from the 27th of March - Sunday 28th of October. The visitor centre and shop is open 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and the Red Roof Coffee House is open 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Listed as the 'Wauk Mill' in parish records from 1784, the Woolmill has maintained its traditions of spinning and weaving through generations of families. The historic buildings and machinery at Knockando Woolmill were refurbished and the operating company is now wholly owned by the Knockando Woolmill Charitable Trust. It is the oldest continually operating rural mill in the country.
