Archibald Young are a foundry producing cast components which are copper based, aluminium or iron alloys. They are a jobbing factory producing one-offs through to batches. It is best to call and discuss a project prior to manufacturing or creating patterns or tooling. The team are happy to offer advice, and if the project is not for them they will point you in the right direction through their network of foundry contacts.
Archibald Young Ltd was started up in October 1959 by Andrew's grandfather, who left the steel foundry in Kirkintilloch to begin his own non-ferrous foundry. This work, manufacturing low volume castings for spares and services is still the mainstay of their works today.
