History

I have been working in various textile technologies for more than 20 years, dealing with thread connections and researching ties, entanglements, stitches and knots. My artistic approach is 'craft based' - the design takes place through the doing of my hands and fingers, which tools and machines. The intention moves from the head to the hands and from there to the material. I understand the machines that I use as extensions of my hands and fingers, they execute the ideas in complex form and at their own speed, they illustrate the concept and create their own quality.
