Ray works to a set of guidelines when producing these products, he also factors in considerations around the type of wood, grain and finish into the production process. The maximum box size worked to is 250mm x 100mm x 100mm, this is due to equipment restrictions in his Ilkeston workshop.

Temima Crafts was established by Ray Sylvestor and his wife, Kathy, in 1995, and has grown creatively since then. This growth began in a shop on 7th Avenue in New York where Ray had his passion and inspiration for wooden boxes sparked. After being introduced to the intriguing effects of cutting with a band saw, Ray began to experiment with this technique at home, and started to develop his own designs. Ray has now been producing boxes for fourteen years, selling these across the UK at Craft Shows and online. Temima Crafts have a strong passion for the processes behind their boxes and cherish this with each individual production.
