Oka offers a variety of services in a welcoming hub. The studios can be rented for events, while an in-house florist adds a touch of beauty. Day passes and memberships are available, and Oka also takes custom orders for hotels, cafes, and individuals. The studio accommodates birthdays, team building, and offers activities like hand building, pottery on the wheel, and sculpture. Private classes and studio rentals are also part of the offerings.
Mitra Moser, founder of OKA since 2020, has a rich background in both floristry and ceramics. With a 3-year diploma in Floristry from Austria and 20 years of experience, as well as a 3-year diploma in Ceramics from Australia and 14 years of experience, Mitra's expertise spans multiple artistic domains. To bring OKA to life, she cleverly utilized shipping containers, transforming them into an artist-in-residence space. Mitra's goal was to create a haven where people can momentarily escape from the world. Inspired by the opportunity, she decided to stay in Dubai after coming to help her son with a coffee shop. Mitra's 12 years as a ceramicist, her work with special needs individuals, and her exhibitions have shaped her artistic journey. The name "Oka" derives from "Okra," reflecting the Australian soil's orange pigment. Mitra Moser's expertise lies in hand-built ceramic products.
