Collaboration with selected artists and organisations is possible. Custom artwork can be developed for a sandboard with a minimum order of 20 boards. Artwork and logos can be screen printed on the board.
Simon Hunt, an Australian sandboarder who wanted to create boards that perform and carve on sand, founded ABOVE sandboards in 2017 in Dubai. He then turned over this business to Daniel Van Doored, a close friend and fellow surfer. In order for people to fully experience this activity, Above Sandboards, one of the numerous businesses that fall under The Surf House's umbrella, has expanded to the point where it now supplies proper, fast sandboards to Dubai retail outlets.
