Make Works Iceland

At Make Works Iceland we work on exploring and listing the manufacturing capacity within the region around Vestmannaeyjar in Iceland, hoping to soon expand to more regions in Iceland. Vestmannaeyjar is an island group on the south coast of Iceland with a rich manufacturing and fishing industry.

Make Works Iceland is situated at Fab Lab Vestmannaeyjar Iceland in the Knowledge Center of Vestmannaeyjar and is part of the European project Distributed Design. At Fab Lab Vestmannaeyjar Iceland we host the coordination of Make Works Iceland and Fab Lab Iceland network.

Metal manufacturers, CNC workshops and manufacturers connected to the fishing industry are our current focus. While we are listing our existing network, we keep on exploring the potential of our surrounding area and emerging talents.
