Al Onqood Carpentry collaborates with architects, interior designers, contractors, hospitality operators and private clients to manufacture bespoke woodwork for projects of all scales. Acting as a single manufacturing partner for all woodwork within a project, they produce custom furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, doors, architectural joinery, wall and ceiling features, and other made-to-order woodwork. They also undertake interior fit-outs, exhibition stands and bespoke installations, working alongside metal fabricators and other specialist manufacturers when projects require multiple materials. Their team refurbishes, restores and replicates joinery and furniture they have previously manufactured, helping clients extend the life of existing installations. Projects are supported from design coordination and material selection through to fabrication, finishing, installation and ongoing maintenance, with advanced staining and colouring techniques used to match existing woodwork or highlight natural grain patterns. Founded in 1992 by the Suthar family, Al Onqood Carpentry began as a specialist joinery workshop rooted in traditional woodworking. Over more than three decades, the family-run business has grown into a manufacturer of bespoke woodwork and interior fit-outs, expanding its capabilities to serve commercial, hospitality and residential projects across the UAE. Their portfolio includes luxury villas, corporate offices, retail spaces, hospitality venues and exhibition projects, with work completed for clients including Al Mana, Bahmani Office and Devera Acuma, as well as residential developments such as Dubai Hills, Arabian Ranches, Victory Heights and Jumeirah Golf Estates. Today, they continue to support designers, contractors and businesses with custom woodwork, often acting as the primary woodwork manufacturer while collaborating with specialist trades on larger multi-material projects.
