History

Smith & Rodger Ltd was established in 1877 by John Smith and Daniel Rodger. The factory was originally opening in the south side of Glasgow. The aim was to provide the highest quality of woodfinishes possible. The tradition was passed through the family William Rodger and onto A.D. Rodger McAslan who now sits as the company’s chairman. Today, Smith & Rodger is managed by his son, Ian A.G. McAslan.
