Pentaxia was founded as a 5-axis machining specialist, with a single 5-axis RYE machine and expertise in machining. We can offer extensive 5-axis machining capabilities, with five 5-axis machines capable of processing a range of materials including: Tooling and model boards (epoxy & PU) MDF Aluminium Carbon fibre (plate & trimming) Plastics (nylon). Foam Core (Rohacell) All machines have tool changers fitted, with two machines also offering laser tool measurement. We can advise on basic limitations of materials.
Pentaxia was founded in 2008 by three people – Stephen Ollier, Adam Norris & Jon Norris with a focus to supply the UK composite industry and motorsport teams with 5-axis machined patterns. The business was based in a small industrial unit, centrally located in the UK (in Derby). To this day, Stephen (Managing Director) and Adam (Production Director) continue to play an active role within the business, John Norris retired in 2015, whilst Tim Ollier also joined as Business Development Director in 2014. Pentaxia now employ about 90 people with a projected turnover of about £6.5 million.
