New Make Works Film: Glencraft Mattresses

Glencraft are a manufacturer of mattresses and divans in central Aberdeen. The company make mattresses in any bespoke shape, and have been producing mattresses since 1818. This begins with threading thin wire into a coil to create springs; through to sewing the mattress itself. The majority of the team have a visual impairment, and it is incredible to watch the craftsmanship that goes into the detailing of each item.  Clients include local universities and the oil industries; through to individual bespoke one-offs for the general public.
