To work with Vergers Urbains you need to share some values as participation, co-creation, collaboration and have a social vision for the projects. Vergers Urbains operates on different type of sites, from 50cm² to a few hectares. A way for the association to occupy the neglected spaces of the city.
Since the creation of Vergers Urbains in 2012, a lot of actors working on the vegetation of the city have emerged. But Vergers Urbains is one of the only which works on such a variety of projects. Methodologies and processes are always questionned in relation to the actors and the context. Vergers Urbains team has no preconceived methods : they adapt themselves to the contexts with sensitization, mobilisation, co-creation and site supervision. The projects are centered around inhabitants and users : Vergers Urbains launches the projects through their initiatives, acting as an intermediary between inhabitants or public collectivities.
