Glasgow Print Studio is a printmaking facility providing equipment, machinery and workshop space to artists using fine art printmaking.

Glasgow Print Studio has a wide range of in house machines available. Their Takach etching press is 42” wide, their Rochat etching press is 26” wide, their Colombian Eagle Press is 24” x 36”. Their Bewick and Wilson motorised press is 42” wide. The Kippax vacuum tables are 44” x 56” and their McCormack vacuum table is 58” x 63”. They have a print down frame with a 3kw metal halide light source which is 60” x 80”. In addition they have a number of iMac desktops, inkjet printers and an A4 flatbed scanner. Using Glasgow Print Studio you can work with bespoke one-offs, batches or small production runs. The workshop is run by an experienced staff of expert artist printmakers who can provide guidance and technical advice on all aspects of printmaking. Membership must be applied for and approved by the workshop manager to access facilities.

Glasgow Print Studio was founded in 1972 as an artist led initiative providing facilities and workshop space to artists using fine art printmaking. Now, as an internationally acclaimed centre of excellence in fine art printmaking, Glasgow Print Studio promotes contemporary and innovative printmaking through supporting artists, exhibitions, learning and conservation.
