The company is currently developing in addition to its sites in La Courneuve and Paris a site in Colombes and another in Lille in the north of France. Today, Algorapolis produces around ten kilos per week and would like to switch to an industrial model and produce 15 tons of fresh spirulina per year. Algorapolis is a special agro-food company: spirulina is a photosynthetic cyanobacterium, it is neither an animal nor a plant. The sanitary standards are different and the products are systematically sent to an independent laboratory to check their conformity.
The team is made up of two associates, Gabriel Ribouulet and Fançois Cassagne, who are accompanied by a technical part (reasearch and development, production, conditioning, distribution), marketing and logistics. Algorapolis is based in La Courneuve.
