They can do everything in-house; from PCB Design, PCB Manufacture, SMT & PTH Assembly, Test & Inspection, Cable Assembly, Product Assembly, Component Procurement, to Final Product Build. Clients generally need to understand technical specifications or bring samples, patterns and/or prototypes. They usually ask for Gerber Files and a Bill of Materials. For prototype and low volume production they have a number of semi-manual vacuum pen placement systems which allow for fast turnaround. There is a wide choice of printed circuit board options including: Layer Count, Material Spec, Finish, Resist Colour, Ident Colour, Copper Weight. They can do up to 12 layers of printed circuits and turnaround time is dependent on the individual project. They also have 5 fully automated Pick & Place systems to ensure they have plenty of capacity to cater for all your SMT assembly requirements. These machines are capable of placing most modern fine pitch surface mount packages and discrete to 0402 size.
European Circuits Ltd is one of only two printed circuit board manufacturers in Scotland, began life as a CEM in 1999. An open doors policy is in place and they welcome all clients to visit the factory to see how their product is being made. Typical clients include Product Designers and Electronic Engineers. This has included working with makers of bespoke lighting installations, pyrotechnics synth systems, energy saving units and interactive alarm clocks.
