Production details
The process begins with sourcing natural and noble fibres, using spinners in Scotland and Italy. Often ESK will work with clients searching for unusual yarns or to understand new techniques for a particular project. The garments are manufactured in house, allowing absolute control over production. Construction uses Shima Seiki machines, and there is an in-house technical team to take design drawings through to optimal production specification. Garments are then assembled by hand and finishing is completed using local soft water. Typical projects include, but are not limited to, throws, cushions, jumpers, socks, sweaters, cardigans and hats.
