Production Specifics

Evergreen Studio specialise in sourcing and working with local Scottish hardwoods. They keep a selection of oak, ash, yew, cherry, sycamore and silver birch in stock in their workshop, and work with a large network of material suppliers. As part of their wider remit they provide services in laser cutting and engraving. Production includes a 500mm x 300mm laser machine and a height adjustable (500mm) as well as a 1400mm x 900mm laser machine off site. Any text, image, illustration, photo or drawing can be engraved onto wood, leather, glass, slate, acrylic or textile. They can prepare the digital files for laser cutting and engraving if required. Typical work includes business branding, sign-writing, as well as crafting unique, personalised gifts. They also work in collaboration with local makers and suppliers.

The Evergreen Studio was founded in 2014 by husband and wife team Simon & Mairi as a way to unite their practices. It's a space for arts, crafts, culture and research with an emphasis on unique, locally sourced Scottish hardwood.
