Make Works Catalonia is situated in the Fab City Hub Barcelona. The Fab City Hub is run by Jessica Guy, Emily Whyman and John Findlay and is an innovation hub designing sustainable solutions to complex urban food, water, energy and waste challenges. To achieve this, we offer workshops, lectures and experiences in a shared space open to the local and global community. The Hub is part of Fab Lab Barcelona, which provides the space, tools and knowledge for education, innovation and invention using digital fabrication. The Fab City Hub and Fab Lab Barcelona are counterparts to a bigger vision - the Fab City model. The Fab City model is a global movement promoting self-sufficiency of cities through initiating a shift away from the industrial paradigm of Product-In, Trash-Out model, working towards locally productive and globally connected cities and citizens. Catalonia became a Make Works region in early 2020. To find out more about Fab Cities and the Fab City Hub visit: bcn.fab.city Our visiting adress is: Pujades 127, 08005 Barcelona, Spain
